You and Your AR-15
You
might know me best because of my revolver gunsmithing, but what you
might not know is that I'm also a pretty fair hand with an
AR-15!
If you've got an AR-15 (who doesn't?), do you know how to keep it
running properly, what ammo is best, or what spare parts you should
keep on hand? This is the class for anyone who wants to know all
the "ins and outs" of keeping their AR-15 in perfect operating
condition!
In this 6-hour classroom workshop I'll show you how to handle the
rifle properly (and safely), the functions of all the controls,
disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly. We'll explore the mysteries
(and myths) of lubrication, identifying and replacing common parts,
ammunition concerns, and how to choose from the myriad of magazine
brands and types. Along the way you'll find out what reliability
really means, how to make sight adjustments, how to put together a
spare parts kit, and what I consider the best cleaning gear.
Since this is a non-shooting class, it can be held anywhere that
allows the safe handling of firearms and isn't squeamish about a
little oil on the table!
Besides those I teach here in the Willamette Valley, I'm happy to
hold You and Your AR-15 classes anywhere in Oregon. (If you're in
another state, let me know - I'm available for a certain number of
outside engagements. If you own or run a gun store, this class is
ideal as a promotional activity or customer loyalty perk. Contact
me for more details.)
