"Why
are you so expensive??"
Because
quality is
never expensive when you consider how long your gun is going
to last!
You deserve only the best work on your prized firearms. I pay
attention to the little things, the details that make your
gun something special. When you send your gun to me, you're
sending it to a specialist - I work only on revolvers, and
exclusively revolvers. Think it doesn't make a difference?

I know someone who owns a revolver customized by a very
well-known gunsmith. (So well known, in fact, that if you
were to name the top 5 best-known and respected pistolsmiths
in the country, this fellow would be on that list. It is hard
to pick up a gun magazine without seeing his name someplace
in its pages.) This fellow is renowned for doing both
autoloader and revolver work, and the gun bears his trademark
etched into the barrel.
The trigger pull is pretty good - not quite as consistent as
I would like, but it's not bad. The trigger return, however,
is atrocious. I've never felt a stock gun whose return was
this bad, let alone one worked on by one of the shining
lights in the pistolsmithing field! It literally feels like
someone dumped sand into that action - in stark contrast to
the pull, which is nice and smooth. So jarring is the
juxtaposition of pull and release that it is difficult to
concentrate on shooting the thing.
Many folks will tell you it's a fine gun - and for most
people who spend their time working on autoloaders, it does
seem great. For my clients, though (this means you!), it's
just not good enough. Half of the trigger pull is the return,
and if it's not as good as the pull you've been charged for
half a job!
When I finish a complete action job, for instance, I take the
gun to the range and test fire it. Not just a cylinder full,
or even a couple of cylinders - I shoot a full 100 rounds
through the gun to make sure that it functions perfectly -
not a single malfunction is allowed!
I'm a revolver shooter myself; I know and understand what a
good revolver should feel like. I take that knowledge and
passion, and use it to make your gun into one that I'd be
proud to own. That's what you should expect from your
gunsmith, and that's what I promise to give you.
I hope that I'll soon be able to count you among my
clients!
