SHOT Show is coming up — will YOU be there? I sure will!

Posted by:

It’s time once again for the annual Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show — also known as SHOT. This annual event, held in Las Vegas in January, brings together the largest number of companies in the shooting world so that everyone “in the business” can get a look at the latest and greatest products.

I’ll be there again this year looking for those items that have direct application to the field of defensive shooting, personal protection, and family safety. I’ll also be meeting with friends and colleagues in the industry, and I expect to be able to bring you news of some exciting products that will be revealed at this year’s show.

(I’ll also admit to looking at some guns just for the “fun” aspect. After all, firearms aren’t necessarily all about self defense; sometimes they’re about hunting and target shooting, too!)

If you’re going to SHOT, how about saying hello? I’ll be wandering around the show talking with people, and between my gray hippie hair and John Lennon glasses it’s hard to mistake me for anyone else! Please do feel free to stop and introduce yourself.

I’ll also be making an appearance at the Steyr Arms booth, #10246, on Tuesday afternoon between 1:pm and 3:pm. I hope you’ll plan on dropping in and saying hello, and if you’re so inclined take a look at the autoloading pistol I carry (the Steyr S9-A1) as well as the rifle that changed my mind about bullpups (the legendary AUG.) Of course I’ll be happy to show them off to you!

(For those of you who have media passes: I’ll be in and out of the press room at various times; best chance to catch me is in the early morning and late afternoon, though I sometimes stop by during the day just to get something to drink and check my email.)

See you in Vegas next week!
