Of the books I’ve written, Defensive Revolver Fundamentals is still my favorite. It’s the book that takes you from the basics of operating your revolver in the context of a defensive shooting all the way through what you need to do to practice your revolver skills.
Along the way it talks about some of the conceptual ideas of defensive shooting, how you should train to deal with a criminal attack, some information of sighting techniques that might be a bit new to you, along with some good information about ammunition selection and suitable calibers for the defensive revolver. For someone who has a revolver that they keep for personal defense in or out of the home, it’s truly the “all in one” resource that has been sorely lacking in the revolver world!
When I wrote it I knew that it would have a limited audience (people who use a revolver for self defense are in the minority these days), but it ended up selling more copies than I really thought it would. Still, several years later, it’s finally being close out by the publisher. It may be reprinted sometime in the future, but for now they’re not planning on another printing anytime soon.
If you want a copy, now’s the time to grab one! You can still get it from Amazon, but there are only about 1,200 copies left — total — in the supply pipeline. Now’s the time to hit the “buy” button before they all disappear!
